Those moments after their baby is delivered, when their lives together should be just beginning, will be the only moments they get to spend cradling their child, feeling his or her soft cheeks and little toes. Bud Sears’ wife had been ill for a long time before she died in 2013. He had been at her side the whole time. And then his wife of 54 years was gone.
“After she passed, there was just a void,” said Sears, who was retired after a career as a supervisor of division engineering at Allegheny Energy. He was looking for something to fill that void. The Foundation for the Thomas Health System Welcomes Two Development Professionals. PARKERSBURG — Jason Landers has been selected as president of the Medicaid managed care organization, West Virginia Family Health, which serves more than 65,000 members in all 55 counties of the state. Lander, who most recently served as executive director of West Virginia Family Health, succeeds J. Fred Earley II, who retired Jan. 3.
