PARKERSBURG — Jason Landers has been selected as president of the Medicaid managed care organization, West Virginia Family Health, which serves more than 65,000 members in all 55 counties of the state. Lander, who most recently served as executive director of West Virginia Family Health, succeeds J. Fred Earley II, who retired Jan. 3. “Jason’s extensive knowledge of the Medicaid managed care market, experience with the challenges of the rural West Virginia medical community and relationships with key stakeholders across the state, make him perfectly suited for this new role,” Steve Shattls, chairman of the board for West Virginia Family Health, said in a news release.
Landers also has served as director of strategic provider Initiatives for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield West Virginia and spent several years in managed care, physician recruitment and relations, business development and practice administration for Camden Clark Medical Center and Camden Clark Physicians Corporation. |
